Best Practices Analyzer Window Server 2012

Best Practices Analyzer (BPA) is a server management tool that was introduced in Windows Server® 2008 R2. It gives administrator an overview of the violation of configuration on the server. You can view this in server manager or the windows powershell.

At first I not even notice about this awesome tools. I only notice this when I was first installing Windows Server 2012 RC, there are some pop-up error messages. Let me explain more once we dive into it.

As soon you have installed the Windows Server 2012 RC, the first screen that you will see is the server manager dashboard. At first , I was quite surprise when I did see an error messages where by this is a fresh vanilla installation, how could such an error could happen. What I did was dive into it and check what are those.
When I look into it, it have some error on the manageability which pointing to "online - cannot get BPA result". I was clueless to find such error messages.
The next is, I went into All Servers, and I can find something that is known as best practices analyzer and it does have an option to perform a BPA scan. Since this is a new machines, I just do a scan on the machines.
Once I click on it, it does prompt me on which machines that I would like to scan.Since this is the only host, I will only see 1 server. If I do manage multiple server, I should be seeing more hostname there.
This are the result of the scan, it told us that the file services roles is missing and we need to installed this to get rid of the error messages.
