Powershell property not valid

Introduction

This is my first time on running powershell on my laptop to check some of the property of AD attribute. I notice that each time when I use the following powershell command

get-aduser -filter "samaccountname -like 'myname'" -property *

I will get some error messages. Just google around and I found the following hotfix.

Creating virtual switch each time for your lab, might be frustrating. The above will give you some minor steps that you could do to increase the productivity of creation on your end. What you can do is to use windows powershell to create those switch as you want.

Windows 10 Preview

Introduction
What we do expect on the up coming windows start button have come back. Have you guys start exploring on this? I did download a copy of the windows 10 preview edition from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-my/windows/preview-iso. I did install this on top of vmware workstation 11 with the profile of windows 8 x64, but it was quite slow when I try to click on the machine although I am running on SSD. I will try to install this on my hyper-v host later and see:)

Have ever you thought sometime, it will be great if your machine can you load 2 hypervisor at the sametime for research and development purpose? But in reality this might not be possible when we are looking into a different software vendor market. Have you ever thought of what is the command that you should learn first before you start with powershell? There are multiple way you could start with, the first is of course by reading some books or blogs in the internet to find more information. But in reality, you should try something by exploring your self.

The first command you should be learning is update-help to download the latest help files. You should do it, if you have a new machine that have been setup.

Introduction

Administration of the windows machine it is getting simpler and simpler as time flies. But in the recent year, Microsoft have launch a new type of administration tools that is known as Powershell. Looking by name it self, many of us, will think that it is time to learn programming, why are we going to back to the stone age, where is the GUI and etc.

To start with the new topic of powershell, first you must be open to it. Powershell came with 2 interfaces which is command line as we as GUI. In the overview today, I won't go into too deep.
